Bulk book import (CSV)
CSV supports book metadata and copy quantities. Required column: title. Each imported physical copy receives a unique barcode.
Important: The import will add copies; it does not replace or delete existing records. Use a unique accession prefix for each import to avoid duplicate accession numbers.
Supported CSV columns
title, isbn, author, publisher, edition, publication_year, category, subject, description, quantity, accession_prefix, price, building, floor, room, rack_code, shelf_code
If the same title and ISBN already exist, the importer adds copies to the existing title. Leave quantity as 0 if you only want to add/update title metadata is not supported; use the book edit page for updates.
